I pulled a 17hr day with toddlers on Tuesday. And instead of maxing out the character space in my facebook status update, I figured there was much more room on here to vent about it. Hallé woke at 7am...she was exhausted from post spring break fun and took way too long of a nap apparently with Dad to be interested in going to sleep at bedtime. I concluded this because she passed out at 5 after midnight when she woke me to kiss me goodnight, turned off the final one light on, and went to sleep??!!
Yup, I said " WAKE ME!"
I didn't do the Super Nanny thing and happily passed up another mom of the year award as I came to terms with the fact that she just wasn't tired. I turned off the lights except one, crawled myself into bed at 11:15 thinking there would be nothing fun left to do without me as an audience.
I was wrong.
I've passed along my gift of: "Everything looks better thru the lens of a camera" to Hallé I guess.
Even at midnight. Because when I woke up I was laughing so hard at the photo session she had around the house that evening. (yes, I was deliriously aware because she started when I was brushing my teeth and I'd roll away everytime she'd try and come take pictures of me in bed saying
"I all gone now mama, just roll over!"

The 60 some odd pictures I browsed thru this morning were so random. I loved getting to see the things around the house she thought were "photo worthy!" Items included: The Rocking Moose, The Pink Barbie Jumper Ball, her Adorable Little Toes, the Ceiling, and some self portraits! She also washed all of her paci's with hand soap and did "homework" she showed off this morning....
HA HA HA HA!!! I am laughing outloud. Mostly because I just realized you were talking about Halle, and when I first started reading I thought you were talking about EDEN!!! I finally caught on when you mentioned the pretend homework. I know you typed Halle, but in my mind I was thinking Eden. That's just hillarious! Oh Sara. The places you take us with your life and it's incredible observations. You never fail to entertain me. I hope that all is well and I'll get to see you and your beautiful girls sometime in the near future! Hopefully you can get a nap in tomorrow! :)
