"BUT MARY TREASURED UP ALL THESE THINGS AND PONDERED THEM IN HER HEART." LUKE 2:19

~ things i love with a capital P ~

PERSPECTIVE, pottery barn patio furniture displays, practically all track jackets, putting my hope in Christ alone, photography, pistachio nuts, parenting as a privilege, pairs of cute sunglasses, painful times deepening friendships, pink bubblegum ice cream (by the pint), perseverance, practical jokes, people, people i can trust, plumeria flowers, pearl earrings that were my grandma's, pantene smooth vitality conditioner, plopping clutter into the trash, pigtails all messed up after naptime on my girls, purel hand sanitizer, painting walls with color, pouring into people's lives, plush blankets, prioritizing, polished nails, pharmacies with 24hr drive-thrus, places where palm trees survive winter, packing away my 2009 "calendar", pacific northwest mountains & rivers, pie plates with fluted edges, purpose, puppies named bronson, preferring the word pacing vs. procrastinating, people who love to say i'm sorry more than they love to hear it, pocket-sized butterfingers, phone calls with special friends, piano music, patterned scarves, practicing not to presume things, planting flowers in pots, passion, penne pasta, panda bears reminding me of my love for HK & japan, pillows that are just right, praise & worship freeing people of pride & insecurities, paying for starbucks coffee with gift cards, putting on my running shoes, pomegranate mixed drinks, putting off dishes till company leaves, purses filled with lipgloss, people who can be vulnerable, parties for every occasion, politeness, plane rides to far away places, popcorn that's air-popped, paul marrying stephanie, pedicures, peaceful homes, price tags with a clearance sticker on them, pre-recorded tv watching, poverty prompting compassion, pieces of angel food cake & strawberries for breakfast, peeking in on my girls while they sleep, products from bath-n-body works, packs of trident spearmint gum, people who can laugh & be witty when life gets hard, paper plates in bulk, papa murphys garlic spinach chicken artichoke de-lite pizza, pretending my girls and i wrote 'put your arms around me' by natasha bedingfield for each other & singing/dancing to it each night after work to remind me to put grace & humor in EVERYTHING (towards myself & them) or it will feel like a really long work week, a very short life, and an inevitable amount of colorful language exposure that i couldn't possibly blame all on the playground...............

USPS assistants "All by themselves!"

Hallé is panting and we're only halfway to the mailboxes.
Today was the day they decided they could get the mail for me
all by themselves!

Almost there...
"Teamwork Sis...we can't mess this up!"
"Whoops, I think we just did..."
" I think I'll hang onto this one with the butterfly on it"
"Here, this bill is for you mom, I'll hold onto the coupons!"

The Remainder of our month of March Maddness ...(3/18 - 3/31)

The Tooth Fairy should not be caught off guard anymore when a tooth falls out moments before bedtime and she needs to present "magical" as Eden would say. Apparently I overdid it the first couple times and so one night when she lost a tooth right before bed, I just stashed some cash under her pillow.(It was a $10 by way because it's all I had!) Her response: "That's ok mommy if the Tooth Fairy couldn't make magic this time and didn't have enough money. She only gave me "one money" instead of lot's and lot's like the other times (as in: pile of glittered coins) so maybe I'm loosing so many teeth that she can only do it every other time?!?"
"Yup, that's it Eden!"
So here is the late night magic complete with glitter:

The Tooth Fairy has visited Eden's Bedroom 5 times in the last 10 months....

And has learned that coins work in gumball machines and are more valuable than cash to kids! Sweet!

Eden and her toothless grill sleeping and waiting for the Tooth Fairy

Hallé and her cute little self awaiting the Tooth Fairy...

She has us check and look at her "Loose Teef" all the time! The night before that she'd snuck a orange marker to bed. Can you see the remains all over her bed?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is Eden so happy that she's getting to be creative with a bunch of permanent paints and a big box (DURING Hallé's naptime)....it turned out really cute and they use it tons now (forget expensive Christmas presents) when they're setting up their dollhouse or out in the back yard to play forts. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Eden 's favorite baking pick "No - Bake Cookies!!!"
Hallé likes how it tastes too...
Sorry, I had to photograph
"Eden Going Green"
I love this memory so much. It was windy here (surprise!?!) and Eden's kite from last year had broken so she "improvised" and made her own that was cuter than a store bought I though! Twig + Floss + WalMart Plastic Bag + Birthday Streamers + (on other side) a drawing she had colored of she and Hallé to decorate it! Later we added a second bag and had pretty good success. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm 31!
Some people love me and get me angel food cake
(Mom & Dad) and delicious Fruit Tart Birthday cakes (Jonni!)....others (Amanda!) got me this little circle of Lard like Love. 53 Grams of Fat in this cake some could sit down and eat in one serving. Bob (Biggest Loser) would die!
I did have some, but threw away!
Other people get me a "Boobie"
...prize that is from Bunco night on my Birthday...my score was so horrible they thought I hadn't finished my score card!
Here's my Loot:
Here is a little bit more "recycling" for you.
My grandpa and I have shared a Birthday cake for many a years. Very Special to me. This year he showed us all how if you're very lucky and turn 79 like he was then you can warm your cold hands over your Birthday cake candles someday!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Just showing off their cuddly side and their new matching Hannah Montana (Hannah Mow-Bow" as Hallé calls her) slippers from Wal Mart. I heart $2.00 price tags!

..."BUT I'D RATHER BE HERE;
IN KONA DRINKING A GREEN GECKO..."
"OR HERE SNORKELING & WHALE WATCHING..."

~Once you've lived in Hawaii and experienced a NON-Winter there....you just get grumpy and sluggish from the
Tri-City WIND TUNNEL~
I was just too lazy to blog, I think I'll blame winter. I LUV NOT WINTER! From the top of my head to the bottom of my feet I was created to (worship!) AND love the warm weather!
I never should have left Hawaii!

So today is the 17th, I've had in my head that when today came no matter what I was doing, I would stay up late and catch up my blog.
~~Plus I'm so sick and tired of facebook being nothing but "QUIZ RESULTS" no offense, but they're the "S" word....STUPID!
My last entry was Feb.17th and I didn't want to let more than 2 months of catching up go by.....I've been taking pictures "thinking in BLOG-GESE" each time I snap one and say....I'll get to it, I'll get to it. ...WELL...I'm here....Drink, Music, and finally all my pictures uploaded for the last 2 months!
ALOHA LITTLE BLOG I MISSED YOU!

Our March Maddness thru St.Patrick's Day...

"Going Green" with the girls on St. Patricks Day for dinner
Paper plates, a green crayon, green turtle sticker, and a green toothpick were my on a whim fancy party decorations! LOL

They'd had to stay out and this is them seeing the "green" table finally...

Yumm...Green Eggs, Green Pancakes, Green Applesauce, Green Beans, Green Milk, Green Pickles, Green Straws, bowls, and so on, just NO HAM!

St. Patrick's Day Leprechaun Dash!

Jonni, Becky, & I with our girls all warmed up before the race

Our green ribbon after finishing Eden's first "mile" race!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I swear they thought this was fun and their idea.... They were playing "Cinderella"...I'm thinking we'll keep that game!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's a good thing this sherbet must be supplemented with some "GOOD HUMOR"

How I found Hallé (or should I say the sink!) after she went to "wash her hands" on her own after the sherbet!

...The rest of February from behind the lens...

"CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT "PROMS" HAVE IN STORE FOR OUR BATHROOMS 10 yrs. FROM NOW!"
This is a series of pix. of the girls getting ready for the Daddy/Daughter Ball put on by Calvary Church
Hal didn't go this year (next time) but she was perfectly happy getting to use all of Eden's Hannah Montana Hair sparkles and Highlighter machine!
If I'd been taking maybe a few less pictures and not being an air head with the curling iron cord, the following wouldn't have happened all over dress pants, walls, doors, etc.....Yes, it's a whole bottle of hot pink nail polish!
None, the less and despite the hectic mess....I'm happy "this" could happen.

This picture of the corsage curiosity is kind of blurry, but mainly for the shot of Hallé in her diaper, hannah montana highlighted hair do, & princess crown!!

abby, eden, ella, jaedyn...their first "group date!"

Their first formal "hokey pokey"....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The girls heaping bin of favorite "lovies" they pick out to sleep with each night...AND Mommy's two favorite and cutest lovies!
